God Wants To Use You

Philippians 4:13: I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

The Lord told Jeremiah that He had a plan and a purpose for him and his life and those plans and purposes were fulfilled. He did what the Lord wanted him to do, said what He wanted him to say and wrote what He wanted him to write. Much like us, Jeremiah did not think he could do what the Lord wanted him to do. He was wrong and when we think that God cannot use us we are wrong. The same God who wants to take us to Heaven and make us perfect there wants to use us and our lives here and now and He has the power to do that. He has just as much power now as He will have in the future. If we don*t believe He has that power here and now, how can we believe He will have it in the future.

Jeremiah 1:1-2a, 4-9: The words of Jeremiah the son of Hilkiah, of the priests that were in Anathoth in the land of Benjamin: 2 To whom the word of the LORD came . . . 9: Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. 6 Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child. 7 But the LORD said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak. 8 Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the LORD. 9 Then the LORD put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth.

The most fulfilled and contented believers are those that know that the Lord can use them and they permit Him to do that. The most miserable believers do not believe He can use them and they do not permit Him to do so. When you are miserable, think about that.
